My initial reaction was "ew why does it smell like that?" After i tasted it, yes it had a similar *essence* to tequila... but not necessarily a *good* tequila.

Unfortunately it did not taste much like tequila. I think that is probably the hardest one to replicate.

Disgusting and undrinkable
One of the worst things I have ever tasted. Tried it straight and in a margarita. Not even remotely close to tequila from a flavor perspective. Poured out the whole bottle. It should be criminal to advertise this stuff as an alternative to real tequila.
